Using works like “brew” or “cup” in the name can have an impact in the minds of the customers. Once you are done with the name, bring a graphic designer on board to design the logo. Incorporate the logo on business cards, take-out cups and the sign that goes over the front door.

Purchase the Required Equipment

You will require some equipment for your coffee shop. Common coffee shop equipment includes coffee brewers, bean grinders, counters, tables, chairs, sofas and armchairs. Besides, you will need several different coffee and tea blends. You will also require cups, saucers and metal spoons for in-store coffee drinkers and carry-out coffee cups, lids and plastic stirrers for carry-out orders. Make sure to purchase items like sweeteners, individual cream cups and napkins too. If you are short of cash then you can opt to borrow equipment loans from traditional financial institutions or private lenders, who are reliable and trustworthy.

It is an important aspect of your business. You need to have insurance for all the assets and employees of your business.

Recruit Your Staff

Hire your employees considering the working hours of your coffee shop. Advertise the positions in the local newspapers and an online job portals. Compile all the eligible applications, conduct interview and recruit the best candidates.

Now plan for a grand opening of your coffee house. Send coupons and fliers to local businesses and invite them for a free tasting. Send press releases to the media about the grand opening.
